NCCU keys to the game
NCCU has to follow up its best defensive effort of the season against Winston-Salem State with another stingy effort. The Eagles may be without Teryl White and Rakeem Vick, but other players showed toughness and grit against the Rams.
PLAY WITH EMOTION, ENJOY THE MOMENT
The Eagles can't get caught up in the emotion of saying goodbye to five seniors who have contributed a lot to NCCU during the transition to FCS status. The group of players has to keep their mind in the game.
PROTECT MICHAEL JOHNSON
The Eagles have moved the ball when quarterback Michael Johnson has had time to read and react to the defense. Rison said Johnson is running so much of the offense right now that he can make adjustments at the line of scrimmage.
