Case 121: Multiple health problems do not sour the compassionate heart of this 63-year-old gentleman. He is eager to participate in the holiday celebrations but he has limited family support and a fixed income. Due to his ongoing medical conditions he is unable to carry out his daily activities without assistance and is confined to his home. He looks forward to Santa Claus bringing him socks, shirts, and holiday cheer.
Case 185: To call this gregarious elderly woman a social butterfly would be an understatement. Her favorite thing to do is communicate with everyone she comes in contact with. She never lets her diabetes or her disabled husband's medical problems sour her mood. She would like for Santa to remember her and her husband this year and possibly bring a new house coat.
Case 186: This single mother of five young children recently lost her full-time job just in time for the holidays. She is concerned that her children will be devastated when Santa does not come. She would be eternally thankful if her family could receive some linens and toys to ring in the New Year.
Case 187: These poor children have been uprooted and moved from place to place for the past couple of years, until their grandmother recently began caring for them. She is having trouble fitting the needs of her four grandchildren into her limited income but continues to do the best she can. It would melt her heart to see her family receive some new clothes and educational toys this year.
Case 188: This sweet 73-year-old woman has been a volunteer her entire life. She continues to be kind to others and helps deliver weekend lunches to disabled and elderly people in her building. She prides herself in maintaining caring relationships with all types of people. She could really use some new pots and pans but cannot afford them on her limited income.
Case 189: It is the dearest wish of this kind-hearted grandmother to watch her grandchildren open presents on Christmas morning. She recently obtained custody of her two young granddaughters and is finding it difficult to scrape together any additional funds to purchase them any presents. She would love to see her granddaughter's faces glow when Santa brings their gifts, especially after such a trying year for them all.
Case 190: This single mother is desperately trying to find a way to bring Christmas to her family. She is raising her three children on a limited income and is nervous about the rapidly approaching holiday season. She realizes her children need warm clothes for the winter and is wishing for a holiday miracle.
Case 191: This single mother of five supportive children has a very limited income to provide for her family. She would love for her children to have a memorable Christmas this year and knows she needs help to make that happen. She could really use new cookware, clothes and a few educational toys or books to brighten p this difficult time.
Case 192: This grandmother gladly took on the responsibility of caring for her 9-year-old grandson. She is in need of extra assistance to help with the holidays and is appreciative of even the smallest aid. They could benefit from a new comforter and children's games.
Case 193: This gentle grandmother has temporary custody of her 3-year-old grandson. She had not planned on needing to provide anyone with presents this year and would greatly benefit from a little Christmas assistance. She would love to receive a new set of glasses and a few toys for her grandson.
Case 194: This 54-year-old woman is disabled with chronic medical conditions. She needs constant assistance with all her activities of daily life and gets some help by fellow family members. She is in need of a large winter coat and undergarments this holiday season.
Case 195: One bottle of cologne can be the deciding factor on this elderly gentleman's Christmas experience. He is a warm-hearted 77-year-old man that resides alone and suffers from multiple medical diagnoses. All he wants for Christmas is to know someone is thinking about him and says a bottle of cologne would be an added bonus.
