Taking care of the ball

UNC has won its past two ACC contests largely because it won the turnover battle. In the victory over Virginia Tech, the Tar Heels scooped up a fumble in the final two minutes of the game to set up the winning field goal. Against Duke, a 54-yard interception return swung the momentum.

Staying healthy

Each week, it seems like the Tar Heels lose a significant player to an injury during the game, but they can't afford to lose too many more. Ryan Houston must avoid getting hurt since he's the only proven option at tailback after the loss of Shaun Draughn a week ago against Duke.

Emotional day

It's the final home game of the Tar Heels' season, which means it will be the last game in Kenan Stadium for 12 seniors. UNC has defeated four consecutive ranked teams, and if the Heels want to make it five, they will need to remain composed.
