DURHAM -- The Durham County Health Department will offer H1N1 vaccinations from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. today at the Durham National Guard Armory, 801 Stadium Drive, to high-risk individuals who are a part of the H1N1 vaccine priority group.

The vaccinations will continue as long as the supply lasts.

Visitors to the H1N1 vaccination clinic can park on-site or ride a free bus shuttle running from the health department offices at 414 E. Main St., to the armory during clinic hours. Buses will return patients to the health department.

High-risk individuals eligible to receive vaccination include pregnant women, caregiver and household contacts of infants younger than six months old, those six months to 24 years old, those 25 years to 64 years old with medical conditions and health care and emergency medical services personnel.

Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian.

The health department plans to begin holding regularly scheduled clinics today and on subsequent Wednesdays based upon vaccine availability.
