The Garden Guild at Sarah P. Duke Gardens will hold its annual
Holiday Craft Sale Nov. 14 and 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Doris Duke Center. The volunteer guild (seen at right painting decorative containers) meets weekly all year at the Gardens and makes knitted goods, stationery, ornaments, jewelry, wind chimes and other nature-focused gifts to raise money for Duke Gardens. All proceeds from the sale go directly to the Gardens. There will also be a gourd-crafting demo. Admission is free. Duke Gardens is at 426 Anderson St. on Duke University's west campus.
