UNC Process Series
A work by visiting artist Clifford Owens, "Photographs with an Audience" melds performance and photographic work, leading the audience through a series of prescribed interactions and gestures, periodically pausing to capture opportune moments on film will be presented at 8 p.m. today and Saturday at Gerrard Hall on Cameron Avenue in Chapel Hill.

Family Fun Day
Food, games, balloons and prizes and participation from Orange County Emergency Services and local fire departments will be presented at the Hillsborough Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the parking lot of Home Depot on Hwy. 86 near I-85 Exit 165.

Fall Colors Hike
Join the Occoneechee Ranger for a 2-mile hike along the Loop Trail to see the fall colors at the mountain at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area, Virginia Cates Road, Hillsborough.

Open Studio Tour
More than 80 artists open their studios so visitors see where and how they create their works as part of the 15th Annual Orange County Open Studio Tour. Sponsored by the Orange County Artists Guild, the event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 7 and 14, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 8 and 15.

Tailgate Party

Aaj Ka Dhamaka 2009
UNC Chapel Hill's South Asian Awareness Organization hosts the Southeast's premier intercollegiate dance competition, Aaj Ka Dhamaka, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hall on Cameron Avenue in Chapel Hill.

Newman Series
An Emerging Artist Concert as part of the William S. Newman Series Event will be presented by the ENHAKE chamber music ensemble. Mystery Walk

Bygone Era
The Legacy of Green Leaf & Gold will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Eno River State Park.

Anoop Concert
The Anoop Desai 2009 UNC Homecoming Concert will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Hall on Cameron Avenue in Chapel Hill.
David Mikush, a Clef Hanger and UNC alumnus, will be the opening act at 7 p.m., with Desai performing at 8 p.m..
