The Tigers earned a share of the Carolina 6 3-A regular season championship with a 2-0 shutout of Orange.
Jamie Dell had a goal and an assist, and Tyler Moser-Katz had a goal for the Tigers, who finished the regular season at 14-7-1, 9-1 in conference to tie Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons.
Girls' tennis
Chapel Hill 9, Ledford 0 -- Chapel Hill easily advanced to the third round of the state 3-A dual team tournament with a shutout over Ledford on Wednesday.
Hannah Kimbrough, Natalie Sutton, Kim Jones and Kelsey Wayne swept their singles and doubles matches while not dropping a single game along the way.
The Tigers (14-5) will visit Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons on Tuesday.
Broughton 9, Riverside 0 -- Riverside's season came to a close with a shutout loss at the hands of Raleigh Broughton in the state 4-A dual team tournament.
The Pirates finished the year with a 13-4 record.
Providence Day 9, Durham Academy 0 -- Durham Academy couldn't keep its season alive Wednesday, falling to Charlotte Providence Day in the NCISAA state tournament.
The Cavaliers finished their dual-team season with an 8-8 record.
Volleyball
The DSA Middle School volleyball team followed up its regular season conference title by winning its tournament title at Sykes Gym.
DSA defeated Rogers-Herr in the semifinals and Githens in the finals to win the title and finish 16-0 on the season.
