The following players received certificates and gifts after successfully completing eight classes of course one in Bridge Education. This course was offered by the Durham Center for Senior life and was taught by Mary Mason Young, a certified American Bridge Association teacher. The students seen in photo are Claudette Parker, Ruth Singleton, Julia Bon Smith, Judy Dillard and Mary Mason Young. Young was also recently elected as the national vice president of the American Bridge Association, Inc. Other students not shown on picture are Bonnie Griffin and Louise Jackson.
