Person 14, Jordan 6

ROXBORO -- After giving up a 70-yard kickoff return to Jordan's Afam Nwogalanya to start the game, Person rallied in the second half with a pair of touchdowns to earn the victory.

Person (4-5, 2-2 PAC-6) took the opening possession of the second half and took the lead when Thurman Clayton finished the drive with a 5-yard touchdown rush.

The game wasn't settled until the final minute, though. Jordan's final possession was snuffed out by some stout defense by the Rockets, who came up with a couple of sacks and then put the game out of reach when defensive lineman Shapiro Wyer picked off a shovel pass and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown.

Jordan (5-5, 2-3) suffered its third straight loss.
