'Roots of Migration' screening

A screening of the film "Roots of Migration," a locally made documentary of a recent Witness for Peace delegation, will take place Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Durham Friends Meeting, 404 Alexander Ave. in Durham.

The event will include a potluck dinner and food drive for a local Latino food pantry.

Participants are encouraged to bring a side dish to share and a nonperishable food item.

A panel discussion about the economic and social causes of immigration will follow the film screening.
