RALEIGH -- The Triangle District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) has announced a new slate of officers and executive committee members for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
Jon Wilson, principal of Kimley-Horn and Associates, will head the group as its new chairman. Wilson will lead ULI Triangle with an executive committee of 13 members and supported by 10 committees.
ULI's mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. ULI Triangle serves eastern North Carolina, including the Research Triangle area, as well as the Fayetteville and Wilmington communities.
"This new Executive Committee is a dynamic and highly engaged group that will help us build on the foundation from the past three years. We are continuing high-value educational forums that bring national speakers to the Triangle while developing programs on topics that impact the region," said Wilson. "... We are looking to foster more partnerships between public and private institutions that promote sustainable development as a means to maintain the Triangle region's competitive advantage."
The newly appointed leadership for the executive committee includes:

- Trish Healy, principal at Hyde Street Holdings, Treasurer/Finance
- Carman Liuzzo, vice president, investments at Highwoods Properties, Sponsorship Committee
