Craft Sale
"Through Women's Eyes, By Women's Hands" is the theme of this year's Annual Women's Center Craft Sale featuring local female craft artisans. Enjoy strolling musicians, wine for purchase by the glass. The event is free, but one-third of the proceeds from each item purchased benefits The Women's Center.

Traveling Exhibit
Ever wonder how or where wedding traditions started? Learn more about weddings and wedding customs throughout the ages when the traveling exhibit "Here Comes the Bride: Weddings in America" will open at 11 a.m. today at the Orange County Historical Museum, 201 N. Churton St. Hillsborough.
The free exhibit will be on display through Nov. 12. This exhibit comes from Rogers Historical Museum in Arkansas.
Here Comes the Bride uses photos, artifacts, text and a slide show to show visitors weddings of bygone eras. The exhibit explores the traditions weddings, rings, honeymoons, and even gifts throughout time.

James Boyle lecture
James Boyle, William Neal Reynolds professor of law at Duke Law School, talk is The Crime of the (20th) Century: How we threw away our cultural heritage for no good reason (and whether Google Books will bring it back). Free, public lecture on the public domain, its erosion by copyright, and the controversial Google Books project.

Second Friday Art Walk
Tonight's 2nd Friday Artwalk is the 100th artwalk. The event is dedicated to Karen Shelton. It was the vision of Karen's in 2001. It will be taking place in Carrboro and Chapel Hill from 6 to 9 p.m. Many of the galleries will have live music and other art related entertainment.
