There is no doubt that the Tar Heels' defense is their strength this season, but they've lacked turnovers the past few games. UNC has a minus-3 turnover margin, and just one of their four interceptions has come against a Football Bowl Subdivision opponent.
OFFENSE PLEASE
Much has been said this week about the lack of offense in UNC's loss to Georgia Tech, and today's game against one of the worst defenses in the conference should be a chance to bounce back. The Tar Heels have scored just one first-quarter touchdown this season and putting quick points on the board would give the team some early momentum.
CAVALIER CURSE
Virginia has won the past three meetings and nine of 11. UNC players can't let history get into their heads, even though the Tar Heels lead the series 57-52-4.
