DURHAM — One-Stop Early Voting will continue today and run through Oct. 3 for Durham’s Oct. 6 municipal primary.

One-Stop Early Voting, open to all municipal voters, allows citizens to vote before the traditional Oct. 6 election day. Durham’s One-Stop voting site for the primary vote is the Board of Elections office at 706 W. Corporation St.

Voting hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon-3 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 28-Oct. 2, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on the final day, Oct. 3.

To cast an early vote, voters should come to the voting site, state their name and address, and vote. Early voters who have moved can update their addresses at the One Stop site. Voters also have the option to register and vote at the One Stop site. Same day registrants must present proper identification.

Note: Same day registration is not allowed at precincts on Election Day, Oct. 6.

Early voters receive the same ballot as those who vote on Oct. 6. Races on the Durham ballot include City Council Ward 1 and City Council Ward 2. All city voters are allowed to vote for both the Ward 1 and Ward 2 races.

Durham County residents in Precinct 32, who reside in the city of Raleigh, will vote for Raleigh mayor, the Raleigh City Council At-Large, and the City Council Ward E seats.
