Hellickson propels Bulls to Game 1 win

DURHAM -- Starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson made sure the Durham Bulls got the upper hand in the Governors' Cup Finals with a 4-1 victory over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees on Tuesday night.
Hellickson struck out six to get the win in the best-of-five series opener, while first baseman Joe Dillon went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Game 2 of the series is tonight at Durham Bulls Athletic Park (7:05 p.m., WCMC 99.9-FM) before shifting to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for the final three games beginning Thursday.
