Duke Keys to the Game
Duke didn't respond well to the punt block for a touchdown it allowed early against Richmond. A better start against Army would be ideal, but the reality is that teams often struggle against triple-option offenses the first couple of possessions. If that happens, the Blue Devils must display a more mature response this time.
Different dimensions
Army rushed for 300 yards and passed for just 8 yards in its opener; Duke passed for 350 yards and rushed for just 19. The nature of the Black Knights' option offense allows them to get away with such a lack of balance, but the Blue Devils must establish the run.
Kicking concerns
Duke missed two field goals in its opener, but Army missed two PATs. The Blue Devils are giving walk-on Will Snyderwine a shot at field goals against Army, and this looks like the kind of game that could possibly come down to a key kick.
