Rucker aims to be lawyer

DURHAM -- Kinney Rucker has impressed everyone involved with the Duke football program with his determination to make a difference on the field, but Rucker is just as determined to make a difference off the field.

"He's going to be a really fine lawyer," Duke coach David Cutcliffe said. "I'm going to use him, somehow, some way.

"I hope I don't need him for the wrong reason."

Rucker, who will graduate in December, is studying for the LSAT and hopes to attend law school to become a trial lawyer or possibly to go into corporate law.
