Students pose for Playboy

DURHAM -- Duke has one. So does Carolina.

That's not football victories (where Duke, actually, has none so far this season).

It's female students featured in the "Girls of the ACC" pictorial in the upcoming October issue of Playboy magazine.

When the magazine held photo auditions last spring at both schools, few potential bunnies nibbled at the carrot offered by the magazine. Only seven Duke students showed up to get photos taken and only one -- Candice Maria -- made it into the pictorial. UNC's one representative in the magazine is Stephanie Christine.

Each one of the 12 ACC schools is represented, with Maryland leading the league with three and Georgia Tech having two.
