OXFORD -- Ian Bosley rushed for 207 yards and scored three times to help the Vikings remain undefeated with a victory at Webb.

Bosley, the school's all-time leading rusher, now has 4,378 yards to rank 59th in state history.

Webb (1-2) appeared to be poised to take a lead into halftime after the Warriors answered a Bosley touchdown run with an 11-yard hookup from Joel Adcock to Akeem Daniel, followed by a two-point conversion for an 8-7 lead.

CARRBORO -- Eastern Randolph running back Khyri Crawford rambled for 224 rushing yards and scored six touchdowns, but Eastern had to hang on as Carrboro nearly made it all the way back from a 26-point deficit.

Crawford's sixth touchdown early in the fourth quarter gave Eastern Randolph a 46-20 lead, but then Carrboro began to rally, getting within 46-40 on touchdown runs from Torrell Farrar, DeAndre White and quarterback Derek Bryant. The Jaguars then recovered an onside kick but couldn't convert.

Bryant fueled the comeback with his arm, completing 30 of 44 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns.

SILER CITY -- Shane Peppers scored twice on the ground and Ridge Smith scored twice through the air to help the Chargers remain undefeated with a shutout on the road.

Peppers, who rushed for 93 yards, scored on runs on 2 and 4 yards, and quarterback Sam Griffin connected with Smith for scoring passes covering 27 and 56 yards. Smith finished with four catches for 89 yards for the Chargers, who improved to 3-0.
