Fridays Uncorked
Today at 5 p.m., white wine and cheese will be the focus. Sasha Shreders, Southern Season's resident cheesemonger, will explain the linked tradition of wine and cheese in several of Europe's greatest wine -- and cheese -- regions. UNC Men's Soccer
The Carolina Nike Classic is today and Sunday at Fetzer Field on the UNC Campus.
Today at 5 p.m., Evansville plays UNC Greensboro; at 7:30 p.m., it's UNC vs. Northern Illinois.
Sunday at 1 p.m., Northern Illinois takes on UNC Greensboro, and at 3:30 p.m., it will be UNC vs. Evansville
Paperhand Puppet's last weekend
"The Living Sea of Memory" focuses on reclaiming fragments of the human story through myth, magic and puppetry. Things to bring: picnics, kids, grandpeople, a cushion for your butt, responsible drinks and a sense of wonder. Preshow is at 6:20 p.m. and the main show is at 7. General admission, no advanced ticket sales. Suggested donation $10-15, $7 ages 3-12, 2 and under free. The show is at UNC Forest Theater, 300 South Boundary St. Chapel Hill. After-Images of the Disappeared

Alumni Basketball Game
The game today at the Smith Center will feature Carolina's current NBA and other professional alumni.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center and the UNC Children's Hospital. The alumni game is the kickoff event celebrating the 100th year of the Tar Heel basketball program.
The town of Chapel Hill's Tar Heel Express park-and-ride service will be in operation for the Alumni Game. Park and ride buses will run from University Mall, the Friday Center and Southern Village beginning at 6:30 p.m. Public parking near the Smith Center will be available for $10 in the Manning and Bowles lots and the Craige, Ramshead, Jackson and Cardinal parking decks. Disability parking will be available in the Williamson Center lot with a disability permit.
Doors open at the Smith Center at 6:30 p.m. The game is at 8 p.m. The cost is $20.
Pancake Breakfast
Pancake Breakfast at the Eno River Farmers Market at the Public Market House on East Margaret Lane in downtown Hillsborough will take place Saturday at 8 a.m.
Pancakes are $1 each and will be made with local, organic ingredients, plus a reading of children's books about pancakes.
Hillsborough Farmers Market
On Saturday, chef Will Farrell cooks with fresh vegetables from the market, Jack Tapp from Busy Bee Apiaries will teach kids about honey bees, face painting, glass blowing, see baby chicks from Spence's Farm, music from the Men's Methodist Group show and more from 8 a.m. to noon at the parking lot of The Home Depot, Interstate 85, exit 165.

Yard Sale
There will be a yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Carolina House Chapel Hill Assisted Living Community.
All proceeds go towards the Alzheimer's Association 2009 Memory Walk. There will be furniture, clothes, books, etc., for sale at 100 Lanark Road, Chapel Hill
Cat's Cradle
Carolina Chocolate Drops will play at the Cradle at 8:30 p.m. The opening set will be by local musician Greg Humphries playing solo Trunk Songs. Cat's Cradle is at 300 E Main St, Carrboro. Tickets are $15.
Jazz & More Sunday Brunch
Enjoy a Sunday brunch on the lawn of Weaver Street Market from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with performance by Haw River Rounders, an up-tempo jug band playing music from the 1920s and '30s.

Snuzzfest will be at 8 p.m. Monday. Snuzz (aka Britt Uzzell) is one of North Carolina's finest songwriters and performers.
It's a night of celebration of the music of the Snuzz! With appearances by members of: Tres Chicas, Jeff Hart & The Ruins, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Hobex, Simeon, The Jackets, Robert Sledge Band, The Old Ceremony, The Desmonds, plus reunion performance by International Orange and Big Kids.
