The Durham County Public Library is seeking the community's help in identifying photos in its North Carolina Collection. Each week, a new photo is posted on the library's Web site -- and each Sunday, we'll publish the photo here to help in the search.

Can you help identify this mystery photo? All we know is that it's somewhere in Durham -- the people, places, and things in the photo are a mystery to us! If you can provide any identifying information, please let us know online at www.durhamcountylibrary.org and click on "North Carolina Collection."

A clue to today's photo could be the words "Camp Creek" that were attached to it. According to "A History of Durham County" by Jean Bradley Anderson, a Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Church was founded on the banks of Camp Creek here in 1803.

You can also call the North Carolina Librarian at (919) 560-0171 or send an e-mail to lrichard@durhamcountync.gov.
