Northern High reunion Sept. 19
DURHAM -- The Northern High School Class of 1989 is having its 20th reunion Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. at Spice Street Restaurant in Chapel Hill.

Hawaiian Luau set for Sept. 12
DURHAM -- Edison Johnson Recreation Center, 500 W. Murray Ave., will host a free, public Hawaiian Luau from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 12.
There will be Polynesian crafts, island games, a limbo contest, prizes, great music, food and fun. The pool will also be open for water activities.
