The store will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with samples of items such as cheeses, juices, snack foods and desserts offered to the public.
In addition, the first 2,000 customers on Wednesday will get a free shopping bag containing a granola bar, fruit snacks and bottled water.
The new store is located at 7906 N.C. 751 South. The regular hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Salon to open at Golden Belt: A boutique salon Moshi Moshi Salon is slated to open Jan. 17 at Golden Belt, the downtown Durham development of renovated textile mill buildings at 807 E. Main St.
The salon is the Durham location of a Chapel Hill business that opened in 2002. Founder Catlin Hettel, a stylist for 10 years, has a background in Japanese language and pop culture that influenced the design of the new location, according to a news release.
The salon is located in 1,324 square feet of space next to LabourLove Gallery. The Golden Belt complex is comprised of residential lofts, artist studios, a central gallery, boutique retail stores, a cafe, event and office space.

UnWINEd: A store carrying North Carolina wines has opened in Chatham County about five miles south of Pittsboro.
Ray Pavlik, store co-owner with his wife Joni, said the business carries wines of more than 20 North Carolina wineries, as well as honey wine, cider and items such as crackers, cheeses and meats such as salami or pepperoni.
The store is located in a renovated general store, Pavlik said, at 237 Center Grove Church Road in Moncure.
The hours are 1 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, and open by request. For more information, call (919) 548-9384.

Hotel opens: A 177-room Hilton Garden Inn hotel opened Dec. 30 in Durham at the corner of Interstate 40 and Miami Boulevard, near the Research Triangle Park.
Construction on the hotel, at 4620 S. Miami Blvd., began in July.

Fitness open house: An open house will be held Saturday for the private personal training facility Move It Be Fit at 4810 Hope Valley Road in Durham, Suite 107.
The business, which does appointment-only personal training and fitness classes, is looking to recruit new clients.
There will be free fitness classes offered, such as Zumba, yoga and boot camp classes, in addition to free personal training sessions. The sessions and most of the classes require advance registration.

Sew Fine II opens gallery: Sew Fine II, a store that sells window draperies and other interior decoration products, remodeled space in its store to create a gallery for Hunter Douglas-brand window coverings and decoration products.
Paula Fullerton, store owner, said the store’s design studio was reconfigured and she also used space from the store’s stock room to open the display.
The store is in Sutton Station in southern Durham at 5850 Fayetteville Road, Suite 104.
