NC man charged, accused of threatening Obama

A North Carolina man accused of threatening to shoot Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has been indicted. U.S. Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert said Friday that 48-year-old Jerry M. Blanchard of Indian Trail has been charged with knowingly and willfully threatening to kill, kidnap and inflict bodily harm upon a major candidate for president.
