Bulls-Bisons rained out

Wil Myers has to wait another day to begin his rehab assignment.
The Durham Bulls' game against the Buffalo Bisons Saturday night was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, starting at 4:05 p.m.
Both games will be seven innings. Bulls manager Charlie Montoyo said that Myers will only play one game Sunday -- likely the first one.
Myers was supposed to play Saturday for the first time since he fractured his right wrist on May 30. He was slated to bat second and be the designated hitter.
Myers started last season in Durham and hit .286 with 14 home runs and 57 RBIs in 64 games before being called up to Tampa Bay, where he went on to be named the 2013 AL Rookie of the Year. He is expected to get 40 to 50 at-bats with the Bulls before rejoining the Rays.
Montoyo said that Saturday starter Nathan Karns (9-5, 4.68) will pitch the first game, followed by Sunday starter Alex Colome (5-4, 4.13).
Saturday's game was officially called after a 2.5-hour rain delay.
After starting the Buffalo series on Thursday with a doubleheader, the Bulls will now play back-to-back doubleheaders. Following Sunday's games, Durham will play two games Monday at Rochester -- completing a suspended game from July 24 and then playing a game that was already scheduled.
In the suspended game, Rochester leads 1-0 after three innings. The second game on Monday will be seven innings.
NOTE -- Fans with tickets for Saturday's game can exchange them for Sunday's doubleheader or any other 2014 regular season home game, based on availability. A ticket for Sunday’s game will serve as admittance to both games of the doubleheader. Tickets can be exchanged at the DBAP box office.
