Give Seth Curry a little bit of room to shoot, and the senior guard will make you pay.
The Michigan State Spartans learned that lesson Friday night, as Curry burned them for 29 points to lead the Duke Blue Devils to a 71-61 victory in the Midwest Regional semifinals at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Curry made 6 of 9 shots from 3-point range to lead the Blue Devils into the regional final against top-seeded Louisville on Sunday (5:05 p.m., WRAL).
Freshman Rasheed Sulaimon chipped in 16, including 12-of-14 free throw shooting, while Mason Plumlee added 14 points despite picking up his fourth foul with 8:12 remaining in the game.
In fact, Sulaimon's misses were the only blemish at the free throw line by Duke, which made 24 of 26 to pull away after leading by a point at halftime.
