Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian offensive tackle Reno Rosene and Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph’s Regional outside linebacker Joe Giles-Harris verbally committed to Duke and football coach David Cutcliffe on Thursday.

Rosene (6-8, 344) was named a MaxPreps Freshman All-America in 2011 and a MaxPreps Sophomore All-America after the 2012 season.
He chose the Blue Devils over scholarship offers from programs that included Notre Dame, Nebraska, N.C. State, Arizona State, Vanderbilt, Washington State and Wisconsin among others.

He is rated a 3-star prospect on a 0 to 5 scale and was ranked as the 59th best offensive tackle prospect in the nation by Scout.com and a 3-star prospect, No. 39 nationally by ESPN.com. Yahoo.com rates him a 4-star prospect and No. 31 at his position.

Giles-Harris (6-2, 210) is also rated a 3-star prospect by Scout.com and Yahoo.com. Yahoo.com ranks him the No. 31 at his position nationally.

He holds scholarship offers from Syracuse, Boston College, Illinois, N.C. State, Arizona State, Rutgers, Iowa, Virginia and West Virginia among others.

Rosene and Giles-Harris are Duke’s fifth and sixth commitments for the class of 2015 — all of them at least 3-star prospects — joining dual-threat quarterback Quentin Harris (6-1, 185), safety Jordan Hayes (6-0, 170), defensive tackle Brandon Boyce (6-0, 250) and defensive end Zach Morris (6-4, 265).
