UNC RB coach Randy Jordan takes job with NFL's Redskins
UNC running backs coach Randy Jordan is headed back to the NFL.
The Washington Redskins announced over Twitter Saturday night that they have hired Jordan as their new running backs coach.
Jordan, who played the position at UNC before graduating in 1993, had a nine-year NFL career and then began his coaching career as a special teams assistant with the Oakland Raiders in 1993.
Jordan had stints as running backs coach at Nebraska and Texas A&M before coming back to UNC when Larry Fedora took over as head coach. Jordan was also the special teams coordinator.
