Robbie Russell joins Real Salt Lake

Real Salt Lake has acquired midfielder/defender Robbie Russell in a transfer with Danish club Viborg FF. The 29-year-old Russell will return to the United States after spending the last seven seasons playing overseas. The Los Angeles Galaxy selected Russell as the No. 22 pick in the 2001 MLS SuperDraft, but he opted to play in Europe.
