NCCU picks five football captains

N.C. Central will have five captains for its football team this season, Eagles coach Mose Rison announced Tuesday.

Elected to the leadership spots by their teammates are quarterback Stadford Brown, kicker Brandon Gilbert, offensive tackle Jovan Olafioye and running back Jeff Toliver -- all seniors -- along with sophomore defensive end Donald Laster.
