Marcus Foligno had two goals, Zemgus Girgensons scored on a backhand to end a long shootout, and the Buffalo Sabres beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 Tuesday night for their first victory of the season. The Hurricanes dropped to 0-3 on the season.
