FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

“Intense” is the word Northern High coach R.J. Wilson uses to describe the Knights’ football rivalry with crosstown rival Southern which will be renewed at 7 Friday night at Durham County Memorial Stadium. Northern has lost 10 straight in the series, winning its last game in 2002, according to Jones. ... Game-by-game breakdowns of all of Friday night's area football games.
