GIRLS’ SOCCER
Jordan 6, Northern 0
DURHAM — Kimmie O’Brien netted a pair of goals to lead Jordan to a 6-0 win over Northern in PAC-6 girls’ soccer Monday.
Scottie McLeod, Millicent Blivin, Alyssa Whicker and Annalies Jobsis had a goal each for the Falcons (8-2-2, 5-0-2 PAC-6).

Carrboro 2, Cedar Ridge 1
HILLSSBOROUGH — Carolina Houser broke a tie, as Carrboro rallied in the second half to beat Cedar Ridge in Carolina 12 girls’ soccer action.
Cedar Ridge led 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Briana Campbell. But Kenza Araba tied the score for Carrboro (4-8-1, 4-4-1 Carolina 12) in the second half.

ECH 5, Riverside 0
DURHAM — Anna Noonan sparked the East Chapel Hill offense, scoring the only goal the Wildcats would need a in 5-0 win over Riverside in PAC-6 girls’ soccer Monday.
Emma Daum, Jordan Donnelly, Dylan Bedell and Amanda Lohman added insurance goals for ECH (4-3-1, 2-2-0 PAC-6).

NCSSM 7, Voyager 0
DURHAM — Mary Poletti posted three goals and Madison Boice added a pair to lead N.C. School of Science and Math to a 7-0 win over Voyager Academy in Carolina 12 girls’ soccer.
Meghan Cole and Mona Amin rounded out the scoring for the Unicorns.

BOYS’ TENNIS
Cedar Ridge 9, DSA 0
DURHAM — Zac Marion posted a straight-set win at No. 1 singles to lead Cedar Ridge to a 9-0 win over Durham School of the Arts on Monday in Carolina 12 boys’ tennis action.
Marion beat Owen Ryan 6-0, 6-2 to start the sweep by the Red Wolves (14-2, 11-2 Carolina 12).

DA 9, Jordan 0
DURHAM — Jake Tillman’s victory at No. 3 singles capped a 9-0 sweep by Durham Academy over Jordan in non-conference boys’ tennis Monday.
Tillman beat Charles Herst 6-4, 6-1, as the Cavalier (10-1) didn’t drop a set in the match.

SOFTBALL
Person 6, ECH 3

CHAPEL HILL — Roxboro Person scored in the first inning and never trailed in a 6-3 victory over East Chapel Hill in PAC-6 softball.
The Rockets added a run in the second and three more in the top of the third before the Wildcats got on the board.

BOYS’ GOLF
PAC-6 Match

DURHAM — Riverside placed five golfers in the top 10, but East Chapel Hill followed medalist Ben Griffin to a victory at Monday’s PAC-6 event at Hope Valley Country Club.
Griffin finished nine holes with 33 strokes, followed by teammate Josh Fried at 36.
ECH posted a 151, while Riverside was second at 153. Northern had a 176, Jordan 180, Roxboro Person 195, Southern 213 and Hillside 217.
Harry Schrickx led the Pirates with a 37.

SOFTBALL
Northwood 2, Northern 1

PITTSBORO — McKenzie Allgood ripped a pair of hits including a double to lead Northwood to a 2-1 win over Northern in non-conference softball action.
Anna Jasper threw a four-hitter to pick up the win for the Chargers. Callie Horn led Northern with a pair of hits.
