CHAPEL HILL — Tykeem Woodard fired in 19 points and Justen Best added 18 to lead East Chapel Hill to a 69-61 win over Northwood in non-conference boys’ basketball action Friday night.
Jake Hilkey added 14 for the Wildcats (5-1), who led 32-20 at halftime but trailed 45-41 heading into the fourth quarter.
Ti Pinnix paced Northwood with 18 points, while Aumad Leviner added 14 and Charles Hope 12.

Riverside 70, Cedar Ridge 33
HILLSBOROUGH — Al Hughes posted 14 points and Dylan Lascallette added 12 with four 3-pointers to lead Riverside to a 70-33 victory over Cedar Ridge in boys’ basketball Friday night.
Justin Kithcart chipped in 10 points for the Pirates (3-3), who led 40-15 at halftime.

Trinity 44, NCSSM 42
DURHAM — Hayes Thielman posted 13 points and Christian Kowalski added 10 to power Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill to a 44-42 victory over N.C. School of Science and Math.
Trinity (2-5) posted a 17-11 scoring advantage in the third quarter to pull out the win.
Joseph Chukwu led NCSSM (0-2) with 17 points, while Russell Aryeettey added 16.

Durham Academy 44, Cape Fear 34
WILMINGTON — Khari Williams posted 16 points and Alston Thompson added 13 to lead Durham Academy (7-3) to a 44-34 win over Cape Fear Academy.

Cresset 58, Crossroads 50
HENDERSON — Shawn Lipscomb fired in 28 points and Sherwood Young added 20 to lead Cresset Christian to a 58-50 victory at Crossroads Christian on Friday.
Young added seven rebounds for Cresset (2-4, 1-1 Carolina Christian Conference).

Jordan 77, Orange 25

HILLSBOROUGH — Bayley Coleman-Cox fired in 24 points to lead Jordan to a 77-25 win over Orange in girls’ basketball action Friday night.
Sophomore Salita Greene added 17 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals for the Falcons (5-2).

Cresset 44, Crossroads 39
HENDERSON — Maggie Addison posted 14 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead Cresset Christian to a 44-39 victory over Crossroads Christian in Carolina Christian Conference girls’ basketball action.
Melissa Devlin also had 14 points for Cresset (3-3, 2-0 Carolina Christian Conference), while Maredith Devlin added 10.

Trinity 41, NCSSM 24
DURHAM — Allie Ruffing posted 17 points to lead Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill past the N.C. School of Science and Math 41-24 in girls’ basketball action Friday.
Kellie Schaefer added 11 points for Trinity (3-3), which led 18-6 at halftime. Angela ChuKwu led NCSSM with 12 ponts.

Northwood 45, South Granville 30

CREEDMOOR — Lorenzo Lamanna of Northwood pinned his opponent in 49 seconds to lead the Chargers to a 45-30 win over South Granville in wrestling action Friday.
Rob Hamlet, Grayson Bryant, Michael Queen, Jarrod Blackmon, Jourdon Blackmon and Thaddeus Tallman also had pinfalls for Northwood.
