CHAPEL HILL — Jamella Smith fired in 16 points to lead Chapel Hill to a 76-21 victory over Franklinton in girls’ basketball action Monday night.
Autumn West added 14 points and Raziyah Farrington had 13 for the Tigers.

WRESTLING
CREEDMOOR — South Granville split a pair of wrestling matches Monday night, easily beating Wakefield 72-12 but falling to N.C. School of Science and Math 45-36.
Alex Winstead claimed a pair of forfeit victories at 106 pounds for the Vikings, while Nathan Castillo (113 pounds), Brandon Meeks (120) and Kenneth Walls (220) recorded a pin and a forfeit win each for South Granville.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Riverside 64, Diamond Valley (Australia) 35
DURHAM — Mark Harris posted 10 points to lead Riverside to a 64-35 win over Diamond Valley, an Australian team playing exhibitions in the U.S.
