BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Carolina Friends School 52, Elon School 41

DURHAM — Milo Kim-Mayer led all scorers with 15 points and led Carolina Friends School with six steals and five assists in its Triad Athletic Conference win over The Elon School
CFS (11-5, 2-1 TAC) also got big nights from Matt Gouchoe-Hanas (10 points, five steals, four assists) and Josh Boone (10 points, 11 rebounds). The win was the third straight for CFS.

Cape Fear Christian 90, Cresset Christian 80
ERWIN — Shawn Lipscomb scored 29 points but it wasn’t nearly enough as Cresset Christian fell on the road in the Carolina Christian Conference.
Lipscomb, who leads all high school scorers in the state with an average of 35.9 points per game, was 11 for 29 from the floor including 1 for 7 from 3-point range.
He led the team in rebounds with eight and tied Tristan Reese (18 points) in assists with three and Sherwood Young (19 points) in steals with four.

Burlington Christian Academy 62, Trinity School of Durham & Chapel Hill 28
BURLINGTON — Josh Folwell posted 13 points to lead Burlington Christian Academy to a 62-28 in boys’ basketball Tuesday night.
Andrew Carden and Jamison Jeffers added 12 points each for BCA.
Spencer Grant and Paul Dunlap had seven points apiece for Trinity (3-11, 0-3 TAC).

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Carolina Friends School 40, Lighthouse Christian Homeschool 16
DURHAM — Anna Kasibhatla scored a game-high 14 points and added a team-best six rebounds as Carolina Friends School downed Lighthouse Christian Homeschool.
Lighthouse (3-10) is comprised of home-schooled players from Wake Forest, Youngsville and North Raleigh.
Jolene Well had 11 points for CFS (11-5) and Lydia Youngblood had eight steals and six points in the non-conference game.

Cresset Christian 53, Cape Fear Christian 38
ERWIN — Cresset Christian only needed points from three players to topple Cape Fear Christian 53-38 in girls’ basketball action Tuesday night.
Melissa Devlin and Maredith Devlin posted 18 points each for Cresset (7-4, 6-0 Carolina Christian Conference), while Maggie Addison added 17 including a pair of 3-pointers.
Hannah Brannon paced Cape Fear (2-5, 2-3) with 11 points.

Trinity 48, Burlington Christian 32
BURLINGTON — Kellie Schaefer had game highs of 15 points and 15 rebounds as the Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill (7-4) improved to 4-0 in the Triad Athletic Conference.
