ROXBORO — Nyquan Wortham posted 19 points to lead Granville Central to a 64-47 win over Roxboro Community School in Carolina 12 Conference boys’ basketball action Wednesday night.
Jeremiah Green added 17 points for Granville Central (7-2, 2-0 Carolina 12). Terrence Hawley led Roxboro Community (1-5, 0-3) with 16 points, while Mickey Drumwright added 11.

DURHAM — Tyrece Jones capped a night of seven pins by Jordan, as the Falcons claimed a 48-24 victory over Northern in PAC-6 wrestling action.
Jones pinned Atavian Oliver in 5:43 to close the match, which Northern opened with a decision and a pin to take an early lead.
