Duke’s Boutier set for Women’s British Open

Continuing her busy summer, Duke sophomore Celine Boutier will compete in the Ricoh Women’s British Open beginning today at the St. Andrews Old Course in Scotland.
Boutier, who is from Montrouge, France, will play in the first British Open event of her career and is coming off a tied for third at the International European Ladies’ Amateurs Championship in Turku, Finland.
She tees off today at 9:48 a.m. along with two-time Duke All-American Brittany Lang and Helen Alfredsson. Duke senior Laetitia Beck is listed as a second alternate.
Fans will be able to catch the British Open live on ESPN2 each day, with coverage today and Friday beginning at 9 a.m. and weekend broadcasts starting at 10 a.m.
