Moton's son winning
The 1-year-old son of N.C. Central basketball coach LeVelle Moton has been upgraded to good condition and sometime after the weekend is expected to be released from a hospital back in North Carolina, according to NCCU's athletics department.
LeVelle Moton Jr. was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after knocking over a cup of hot coffee that spilled on his face, his father said.
LeVelle Sr.'s pregame routine includes making eye contact with his daughter, Brooke, who from the stands forms her fingers into the shape of a heart through which she blows a kiss to her father, who does the same.
But Brooke wasn't able to make it to Texas to watch her daddy coach in the NCAA Tournament. She was back in Durham with her mom, LeVelle Sr.'s wife, Bridget, making sure her baby brother was OK.
