My Top 25 ballot

Sep. 03, 2013 @ 02:25 PM

Here was my ballot after the first week of the college football season (the number is parenthesis is the team’s official ranking):

Alabama (1)
Oregon (2)
Ohio State (3)
Clemson (4)
Stanford (5)
Louisville (8)
LSU (9)
Georgia (11)
South Carolina (6)
Florida (12)
Texas A&M (7)
Michigan (17)
FSU (10)
Notre Dame (14)
Oklahoma State (13)
UCLA (18)
Wisconsin (21)
Oklahoma (16)
Texas (15)
Northwestern (19)
Arizona State (28)
Washington (20)
TCU (24)
Nebraska (22)
Northern Illinois (30)

Not much movement in and out of the polls, since only three teams in my preseason top 25 lost (Georgia and TCU fell to other ranked teams, while Boise St. lost to Washington, who replaced the Broncos in my poll). I have Arizona State – which I think is primed for a breakout year in Todd Graham’s second season – and Northern Illinois in my poll instead of currently ranked teams Baylor (23) and USC (25).
