Prep football: Today's games
S. Alamance (4-0, 0-0) at Chapel Hill (1-2, 0-0) The lowdown: Chapel Hill enters tonight’s game looking for a better offensive night than it had in last week’s 17-7 loss to Broughton. In that game the Tigers scored on their first possession but then struggled to move the ball and missed two field goals. Chapel Hill has one of the best defenses in the area but needs the offense to step up and make plays if it hopes to get a win against Southern Alamance, which beat Jordan-Matthews 15-0 last week to record its second shutout of the season.
