DURHAM -- Durham Bulls shortstop Reid Brignac must have been in a patriotic mood Friday.
Sporting the team's special red, white and blue jersey, Brignac batted in all three Bulls runs, giving his team just enough offense to get its season-high seventh consecutive win -- a 3-2 victory over Charlotte at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Tuesday, the Bulls placed infielder Chris Richard on the seven-day disabled list, retroactive to May 24, with a hamstring injury. Infielder Brandon Chaves has joined Durham from the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits, and the Bulls also have added free agent pitcher Matt DeSalvo.
