ROXBORO -- The citizens of Person County and the Rotary Club of Roxboro on Saturday honored the men and women who served in the military during World War II with the unveiling of a monument in Person County Courthouse Square witnessed by some 500 people. |

Police probe Roxboro death

ROXBORO -- Police were investigating a death near a Roxboro trailer park Saturday.
The body of Sanford Lovelace Reed was discovered Saturday morning in a wooded area near Lehigh Mobile City, said Lt. Todd Boycher of the Roxboro Police Department. |
