Case 304: North Carolina has provided a safe haven at last for this family. After years of mental and physical abuse put this single mother into a coma, she finally realized she needed to remove her daughter from this situation. She’s finally found peace of mind, but at the expense of everything she owned; she now finds herself sleeping on the floor and unable to provide the luxury of a happy holiday for her daughter. This family needs household goods of all kinds and clothing size 13/14, including socks and a jacket, for the daughter.

Case 301: Bring holiday cheer to a grandmother raising four grandchildren alone on a fixed income. The 2-year-old boy has speech issues and needs educational items to help with speech, Pull Ups size 4/5, Lego blocks and flash cards. The 4-year-old boy loves airplanes and building things. The 8-year-old girl would like a bike and a microphone. The 10-year-old girl wants a science kit, basketball and iPod. All the children would benefit from educational books.

Case 302: Asthma brings pain to this woman’s chest, but being unable to provide Christmas for the great-nephew she cares for brings pain to her heart. Ease her burden by helping provide clothing for this 5-year-old boy, size 5-6, as well as a bike and toys. His great aunt would like a fruit basket, any food donations, and clothes in sizes 6/7/8.

Case 303: Happiness is having your grandchildren move to North Carolina from Michigan; heartache is having their parents incarcerated and taking on their care on top of your own existing medical concerns. The kids range in age from 2 to 5 and need clothing, pajamas, toys, dolls and drawing supplies. Grandma respectfully requests no toy guys, please, but would like household goods, bedding in sizes queen and twin, and a Christmas tree for the children.

Case 307: Disabled mom needs your help to provide a happy holiday for her chronically ill son. The 8-year-old needs T-shirts and underwear in size L, socks size 3-11, jeans size boys 14. He would also like a coat in size 14, a Spiderman game for Gameboy, and math and reading books. Mom needs a winter coat size 18-20, jeans in size 16, shirts in 2X, and towels and washcloths.

Case 308: This 41-year-old does not let being legally blind stop him from doing the things he needs to do. He remains energetic and full of enthusiasm, but needs your help with providing clothing. He wears 41x30 pants and size large button-down collar shirts.

Case 309: Born blind, this 13-year-old needs help with clothing this holiday season. He wears size 13 slim pants, shirt size 10-12 and really needs a new winter coat in size 14.

Case 310: This mother has struggled to overcome homelessness, but now worries that she may not be able to continue to provide for her three small children due to unemployment. Ease this family’s burden by helping to make their holiday one of joy. The kids, ages 5, 6 and 10, need socks, underwear and jeans in sizes 5/6, T-shirts and boxers size 10/12, jeans and shirts size 10/12, gloves, hats, sweaters, and a winter coat for the 6-year-old daughter, size 6. The kids would like a black baby doll, educational toys, a book bag, UNO cards, race cars, and a wrestling toy. Mom needs a dress coat suitable to wear to job interviews in size M, underwear size 6, socks size 5, a bra in 32B, and T-shirts in M.

Case 311: A deep, polite angel’s voice can be heard coming from this elderly man who is legally blind and lives alone. He is thankful for any help you can give him this holiday season; he needs a nice toaster in silver, a queen-size bed in a bag set or 350-count sheet set.

Case 312: This young man lost his eyesight at an early age, but continues to work with his hands and stays busy. He very much appreciates any help this holiday season and needs boxer style underwear and T-shirts in size M and socks size 10-11.

Case 313: He’s lost his eyesight, but kept his sense of humor. This gentleman likes to stay busy and attends support groups. He needs your support this holiday season in the form of clothing. He wears 38x30 jeans, underwear in L, and prefers button-down collar shirts in 17.5.

Case 314: At 63, blind, and a double amputee, this lady might have lots to complain about — but as she says, she knows that won’t help, so she goes on with a smile on her face and love in her heart. You can help keep her smiling by remembering her with a dress in size 3X and sweaters in size 2X.

Case 315: At 87, many folks can no longer manage alone, but this gracious lady refuses to give up her independence — or her doll collection. She’s in need of flannel pajamas and a robe, both size M.

Case 316: At 34, this single mother has her hands full with 6 children ages 9 months to 16. Help her play Santa to her brood by providing building blocks and a walk behind toy for the baby; an Uno with farm animals game; small race cars; Transformers; board games, maybe Trouble or the new Monopoly; a twin-size comforter set in blue or black; a nail polish set, bracelets and earrings for the older girls; a camera or some type of hand-held computer game for the oldest boy. Mom would like blank CDs, a comforter set in brown or black queen size, and some pots and pans.

Case 317: This 80-year-old grandmother caring for her 7-year-old grandson on a very limited income has only one wish: that her grandson has everything he wants for Christmas. He needs clothes in size 7-8 slim/tall, and his grandmother would love him to have a suit to wear to church. He loves toy cars, hand held electronic games and anything Spiderman.

Case 318: This 17-year-old suffers from depression, and is under the care of her grandmother, who also suffers from multiple medical issues. The budget will not stretch to cover Christmas this year, but grandma wishes for this child to have a merry Christmas and asks for your help. She needs clothes in size 20, shirts size L and socks size 8. She would love to have some teenager-type accessories and a feminine jacket to wear to school.

Case 319: This single father is raising two girls, the oldest in college, on a very limited income. Both girls need clothes in sizes 16 and 18, school supplies and teenage accessories. The oldest daughter needs college dorm bedding and furniture, and Dad needs a king-size comforter set.
