DURHAM -- Gambling equipment and a vacuum cleaner were among property stolen in recent thefts police are investigating. Here are the details:
n Burglars hit a home in the 300 block of South Guthrie Avenue Tuesday and took three televisions, gambling equipment, a vacuum cleaner, clothes, a stereo system and DVD player with a total value of $2,350.
n A computer, CD player and radio worth $1,200 were taken from a home in the 800 block of Grandview Drive Tuesday.
n A man said he was robbed and assaulted in the 2600 block of Glenbrook Drive Saturday. He said $250 was stolen.
n Surtidor Supermarket at 2022 Guess Road was robbed Sunday of $300.
n Someone broke into a home in the 4000 block of Brambury Crossing Monday and took stereo equipment, a jewelry box with jewelry, $40, 25 CDs and a flashlight worth $1,160.
