Bull Horn: Interstate driving speeds

Jun. 28, 2013 @ 07:51 PM

Last week, we asked readers of our website at heraldsun.com how fast they drive on North Carolina’s interstate highways. Here’s where the rubber met the road:

  • Less than 1 percent reported driving slower than 55 mph.
  • 55 percent claim they keep the speedometer between 55 and 70.
  • 42 percent confessed to nudging the needle as high as 85 mph.
  • 2.7 percent indicated that they zoom along faster than 85 mph.
