Sheila B. Caldwell
DURHAM — Sheila B. Caldwell, age 64, made her departure on Saturday, August 2, 2014 while in the care of hospice at the Hock Family Pavilion.
She is survived by her mother Mrs. Lois T. Brunson, one child Montréllè Caldwell, two sisters Ms. Patricia White and Mrs. Jami Jones, three brothers, Ronnie, Von, and Leslie Brunson.
Funeral services to be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 1:00pm at Union Baptist Church located at 904 N. Roxboro Street, Durham, NC. Prior to the service viewing will be at 12:00 noon.
Arrangements entrusted to Holloway Memorial Funeral Home.

Barbara Simmons Foggie
CHAPEL HILL — Barbara Simmons Foggie departed this life July 29, 2014 in her home at Chapel Hill, NC. She was born 12/14/1930 to Alberta and James Simmons in Raleigh, NC.
She is predeceased by her husband, Rev. Bennie Foggie Jr., and her daughter, Dorothy L. Foggie. She is survived by her sister, Yvonne Pettis, her daughter, Teresa Shaw, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held 3pm, Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Church of God, 102 Boyd St., Carrboro. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to www.gofundme.com/cpjyy8.

Alma Catherine Loyd Blackley
FRANKLINTON — Alma Catherine Loyd Blackley, age 82, died Thursday, August 7, 2014. A native of Franklin County, Alma was the daughter of the late Dorsey and Lucy Dean Loyd and widow of the late Herbert M. Blackley. She was a member of Banks United Methodist where she served as treasurer of the Parsonage Fund, a member of the G.G.’s organization and church choir. Alma retired from the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Butner and was an avid Tarheel fan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from Banks United Methodist Church by Rev. Gina Miller. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM prior to the service in the fellowship hall. At other times the family will be at the home.
Surviving are her daughters, Melanie Blackley (Rick Cooper) of Charlotte, Sherry Strickland (Rick) of Durham, Melba Knott (Tonie) of Wilton; sisters, Joyce Mitchell of Youngsville and Linda Piaski of Raleigh.
