Bernice “Louise” Ellington Delionbach
DURHAM — Mrs. Bernice “Louise” Ellington Delionbach, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home. She was born in Granville Co. to the late E.R. Ellington and Hettie Yarborough Ellington. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Delionbach; seven brothers and two sisters. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Delionbach was a Registered Nurse at the VA Medical Center. She was a longtime member of Gorman Baptist Church, Lydia Sunday School Class and Gorman Ruritan Club.
Surviving are her daughters, Lynette Tilley and husband, Lynn of Durham, Denise Wilkins and husband, Mike of Yanceyville; sister, Christine Oliver of Rougemont; brother, Billy Ellington of Stem; grandchildren, Kevin Tilley of Cary, Heather Tilley of Durham and Kristy Wilkins of Yanceyville.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday at Gorman Baptist Church with Dr. Conley Bordeaux and Rev. Jamie McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.

Nannie Mae Harris
DURHAM — Funeral services for Ms. Nannie Mae Harris, 55, of Durham, NC, will be conducted today at 1 p.m. at Bethel Tabernacle United Holy Church. The family will meet with their friends one hour before the funeral service.
Survivors, one daughter, Mrs. Rashawn Harris-Ayune (David); one grand, Naqual Quincy Cole; two sisters, Ms. Gracie Hart, Ms. Emma Harris; two brothers, Mr. Benjamin Harris, Mr. J.D. Hart; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Maggie Robelle Raines
DURHAM — Mrs. Maggie Robelle Raines, 76, died Sunday, (05-19-2013) at Durham Regional Hospital. 
Funeral services will be held today, (05-24-2013) at Holland Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Apex. 
The family visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Orlando R. Dowdy officiating.  
Survivors include her husband, James Louis Raines Sr.; sons, James Louis Raines Jr. of Roxboro, Andrew Raines of Camden, NJ, Troy Raines of Durham; daughter, Faith Wells of Durham; sisters, Bernice Barbee, Unita Wilson, both of Apex, Wilhemenia Thomas of Durham, Emma McCullough of Camden, NJ, Mary Breeze of Harrisburg, PA; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ruby Johnson Hayes
HAW RIVER — Mrs. Ruby Fay Hayes, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Carthage, NC to the late Willie Jewell and Annie Mae Jewell. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Hayes; daughters, Annie Johnson, Judy Oswald, Cecilia Teasley; sons, William Scott Johnson, Willie Johnson, Jimmy Johnson.

Frank Lee Ranes
BURLINGTON — Mr. Frank Lee Ranes, 81, of 3030 Heritage Lane, Burlington, NC, died at the Hospice and Pallative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell in Burlington on Monday, May 20, 2013. He was born on August 21, 1931, in Warrenton, NC to the late Thomas and Edna Conner Ranes. He was employed by Adams Concrete in Durham for 35 years and retired in 1993.
Frank lived in Durham most of his life before moving to Kentucky in 2005 to live with his stepson. When his health began declining, he returned to Burlington in 2007 to live with his stepdaughter. Frank had a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia. 
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Mary Ann Hardiman Ranes; sons, Glenn (Frances) of Timberlake, NC, David of Rougemont, NC; and daughter, Rosemary Morris, of Stem, NC, from whom he had six grandchildren; and two  great-grandchildren; stepson, Robert Burch (Vicki) of Villa Hills, KY, and their children, Jeff Burch (Maranatha) and Melissa Guha (Kishor) and their son, London, all of KY; and stepdaughter, Lori Wisniowski (Mark) of Burlington, NC, with whom he resided for the past five years. Also surviving are his brother, Milton Ranes (Kay) of Glendale, AZ; brothers-in-law, Landon Hardiman (Hilda), Ronnie Hardiman (Kathy), and Robert Hardiman (Chris); and several nieces and nephews. 
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 812 Junction Road, Durham, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Pallative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
