Boyd E. Dickey
DURHAM — Boyd E. Dickey, 79, of Durham, died Saturday, December 14, 2013. Mr. Dickey was born in Orange County to the late Alice Hunt and Edgar Dickey. He was a Korean War veteran and served in the National Guard for 25 years. Boyd was employed as a mechanic by the N.C. National Guard. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, where he pastored for 10 years. Boyd was predeceased by his grandparents who raised him, Geneva and Joseph Dickey; his great-granddaughter, Gracie Beck; and a son-in-law, Ernest Buchanan.
Surviving are his wife, Charlene Vollers Dickey; a son, Leon Dickey and wife, Wanda of Chesapeake, VA; a daughter, Cindy Dickey Buchanan of Durham; grandchildren, Dawn Buchanan Beck and husband, Lenny, Amy Dickey Morton, Brian Buchanan and wife, Carly, April Dickey Bassing and husband, Josh and Skylar Goodman; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Buchanan, Chance Morton, Nicole Buchanan, Jackson Beck, Jacob Buchanan, Michelle Bassing, Kenley Beck, Jack Morton and Caleb Buchanan.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16th, at Clements Funeral Chapel. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clements Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Billie Marie King Gullie 
DURHAM — Billie Marie King Gullie, 78, of Durham died on Sunday, December 15, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Luther James King Sr. and Pauline Wilkins King. She worked for 43 years as a seamstress for LCI. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother Lorenzo King, sister Gloria Mc Daniel.
She is survived by her loving  husband of 58 years, George William Gullie, Sr.,  two sons, Don and Ron Gullie,  five daughters, Debbie Keith (Steve), Sharon Fields (Bennie), Paula Gullie, Tina Watson (Steve), Lynne Copeland (Wayne), one brother, Jimmy King, two sisters, Lavanda Harward and Katherine Shelton, six grandchildren, Kristy Fabean (Matt), Taelor Fields, Luke and Michael Copeland, Morgan and Alexia Gullie, three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Micah and Kaylee Fabean, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Dr. Rick Finley and Rev. Don Harward will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Phil Harward, Mark Harward, Brock King, Jeremy King, Andy Watson and Ricky Oakley. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of LCI.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Ricky Devon Watson
DURHAM - Ricky Devon Watson, 51, departed his life on December 12, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Shirley Watson; two daughters, Reenisha Williamson and Shaquaria Williamson, one son Ricky Adams; eight grandchildren, six brothers, four sisters, three aunts, one uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Mt. Calvary United Church of Christ, 1715 Athens Ave, Durham, NC with the viewing from 12 noon to 1:00 pm.

Harry Lee "Pete" Wilkerson
DURHAM - Harry Lee "Pete" Wilkerson, 79, died Wednesday, December 11, after an extended illness. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Anne H. Wilkerson, and a son, Patrick L. Wilkerson, both of Durham; a daughter, Suzi Leonard, a grandson, Brian H. Leonard, and a great grandson, Cooper Z. Leonard, all of the Austin, Texas area.
Pete's request for cremation has been honored by his family and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
