Thieves hit a sour note
DURHAM --A clarinet, worth more than $5,000 was stolen from a display shelf at Music & Arts in the 3600 block of Witherspoon Boulevard on Thursday. Police say sometime between 5:30 and 9 p.m. someone walked off with the instrument. The case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.

-- Angela Marie Logner, 44, of Bluebell Lane was arrested Friday at the Walmart in the 1500 block of Glenn School Road. She is charged with two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute schedule IV controlled substances, and one count each of selling schedule IV controlled substances and delivery of schedule IV controlled substances. She is in custody at the Durham County Jail with a $150,500 bond.
-- Ebony Lorin Morton, 30, of Park Avenue, was arrested Friday at the Walmart in the 1500 block of Glenn School Road. She is charged with one count of felony larceny from a merchant. She also had an outstanding larceny warrant in Vance County. She was released Monday from the Durham County Jail under an $8,000 secured bond.
